Some designs arrive by chance, others by need. The Getafe was born out of both. We wanted to offer a classic shoe but with a Vibram® Monteroni sole and lift it just enough to feel sharper, more structured, more urban. A touch higher on the foot with a cleaner cut through the leather.
The name comes from Getafe, a working city on the edge of Madrid. Not tourist Spain, not postcard Spain — but the kind of place where football, factory shifts and late-night bars all collide. Honest, direct, unpretentious. That energy felt right for this shoe: tough enough for daily wear, refined enough for whatever comes after.
The Getafe is about subtle shifts — changing the proportions without losing the character. It’s still unmistakably Wildbunch, but tuned for a sleeker stride. Consider it a modern upgrade on a classic form: same roots, new attitude.
